Jahrhundert, der auf bereits bestehenden mittelalterlichen Strukturen errichtet wurde. Die malerische neugotische Fassade mit ihren Zinnen und T\u00fcrmchen bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die l\u00e4ndliche Landschaft. Im Inneren befinden sich mehr als 120 R\u00e4ume, von denen viele mit original M\u00f6beln, Fresken und historischen Gegenst\u00e4nden ausgestattet sind, die vom Leben des sizilianischen Adels erz\u00e4hlen. Das Schloss ist von einem weitl\u00e4ufigen Park im Stil der englischen Romantik umgeben, der mit k\u00fcnstlichen Grotten, einem beeindruckenden Steinlabyrinth, Springbrunnen und dekorativen Pavillons geschm\u00fcckt ist. Heute ist es als Museum f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich und bietet kulturelle Veranstaltungen und F\u00fchrungen an. Das Schloss ist auch als Filmkulisse f\u00fcr die Fernsehserie \u201eIl Commissario Montalbano\u201c bekannt.
