Four days of tastings, culture and entertainment with well-known guests from the national and international scene, but the real protagonist will be him: the Modica IGP chocolate, the first chocolate to bear this important recognition in Europe. A very old recipe that makes it unique in every bite, capable of evoking in many pleasant memories related to their childhood and winning over those who are about to taste it for the first time. An event that is renewed this year from December 7 to 10 in the historic city center, which can be reached by shuttle bus(map and info) or even by train if departing from Syracuse or Caltanissetta.

Gluttonous appointments

Among the initiatives will be a Chocolate Factory that will take gluttons and the curious into the magnificent world of processing the famous bar, starting with the cocoa bean, curated by Fausto Ercolani. A pastry workshop led by pastry chef Concetto Cicero will also be held throughout. A very sweet place where prestigious presences will alternate over the four days: Tommaso Foglia, Davide Roccasalva and Andrea Giannone who will offer their specialties using Modica chocolate. Cultural and entertainment events are also not to be missed.

Culture, music and entertainment

Chocomodica, dedicated to reading, where 11 famous authors will present their books, including Aurelio Cochi Ponzoni, Antonella Lupo, Tommaso Foglia, Natasha Korsakova and Luigi Troiani. Chocomodica, which will offer participation in a comics course for young people and adults and the chance to participate in a design competition for a comic strip about Modica IGP Chocolate; CineCiok for film lovers, will give screenings with a chocolate and food theme; ChocoArt will enchant the curious with works of painting and chocolate sculpture, and finally CiocoTalk will be an opportunity to attend presentations, awards and hear from distinguished figures such as the Dr. Giorgio Calabrese, one of the world’s leading experts on diets and nutrition, and host of numerous TV shows. We can get wild with musical entertainment with Eugenio Bennato & Taranta Power and the QBeta in addition to the comedy moment with the very funny Sasà Salvaggio.
